Salt Flats

Last weekend my brother and I headed up to Bonneville to watch my Grandpa race. Curtis stayed behind in Provo to help his parents buy a condo and although my we all missed his presence, we're happy that all his hard work paid off! Ray and Diane bought a place up here for their kids to live in which means we'll be moving soon! We're sad to leave our ward, but we're very excited to move into such a nice place!

Justin and I drove up early in the morning and the day couldn't have been more beautiful.

Me and brudder.

I love this photo of Grandpa. It's so him.

The pits off in the distance.

Our spot. Check out those wheels.

Grandpa getting ready to "fly to the moon." He was hoping to go over 200 mph with this new car but there were some malfunctions. Maybe next time.

Almost to the starting line.

The pit crew.

Open road.

Final inspections.

Got salt?

The innerworkings of a racing MACHINE.

It was so good to see my family. I miss them! Next post: Alli's wedding in Arizona!!!!

The salt flats and your grandpa's car seem surreal! We are sorry Curtis missed them but grateful for all of his help. He did a great job! We're very excited about the condo and can't wait to see you this week. Yeah!!!

Looks like a fun time. Awesome scenery too - something out of a sci-fi movie. Congratulations on the condo too! Can't wait to hear about it!
